Ninja Time Obito Rework Guide

The September 2026 Obito Rework brought three major changes to the Red Eyes clan line: a new Intangible variant, reworked Kamui mechanics and three fresh spin codes. The rework targets the gap between base Red Eyes and Mythic Meteor or Raven, giving Legendary-tier players a meaningful alternative without diluting the rarity of the S-tier variants.

This page covers what changed, how the new Intangible variant plays, a full Red Eyes variant comparison table, how Kamui works post-rework and which codes dropped alongside the update.

What the Obito Rework is

The Obito Rework is a September 2026 balance and content update to the Red Eyes clan line. It introduced the Intangible variant, tweaked Kamui to give brief i-frames instead of a teleport, and shipped three new spin codes. The rework does not touch Meteor, Raven, Teleporter or Black Flames — those remain exactly as they were.

Intangible occupies the Legendary rarity tier inside the Red Eyes bracket, sitting above base Red Eyes and below the Mythic named variants. Its defining mechanic is a short Kamui phase-dodge that makes it the most mobile Red Eyes variant in 1v1 combat.

What changed in the rework

Three specific changes arrived with the September 2026 patch:

A new Intangible variant entered the Red Eyes clan line as a Legendary rarity option, bringing Kamui-based i-frames and a fresh Mangekyo Sharingan visual set.

Kamui was reworked for all Red Eyes variants. Instead of a full-map blink, it now grants a brief invincibility window — approximately 0.5 seconds — during which the player can dodge through enemy attacks. The i-frame window is short enough to require good timing but long enough to bait out ultimates in PvP.

The Kamui visual was updated to show a distinct Kamui dimension effect for the Intangible variant, distinct from the standard Red Eyes eye animation.

The Intangible variant

Intangible is a Legendary Red Eyes variant unlocked through a standard Clan spin. Inside the Red Eyes bracket, the drop rate for a named variant is approximately 0.2% per spin — so Intangible is not easy to get, but it is meaningfully easier than Mythic Meteor or Raven.

The core appeal is Kamui: a brief i-frame dodge that repositions the player slightly forward. In 1v1 PvP this creates real mind-game opportunities. In PvE it is mostly a survival tool against high-damage boss mechanics. The ceiling is lower than Meteor for raw burst, but the floor is higher for players who struggle to land combo openers.

The Mangekyo visual set is new for this variant and includes the distinctive pink-and-black Kamui dimension swirl on activation.

Red Eyes variant comparison

All six Red Eyes variants ranked by tier, rarity and key use case. Use this table to decide whether to keep an Intangible pull or continue rerolling toward Mythic Meteor or Raven.

Nombre Tier Rareza Key Ability Notas
Meteor S Mythic Crimson Inferno mode Best Red Eyes kit for bosses, PvP burst and Full Susanoo. Remains the top S-tier Red Eyes.
Raven S Mythic Ultimate Raven + Totsuka / Yata synergy August 2026 weapons batch. Strong Susanoo colour line and Totsuka/Yata identity.
Intangible A Legendary Kamui phase-dodge September 2026 Obito Rework. Kamui gives a short i-frames dodge useful in 1v1 PvP. New Mangekyo Sharingan visuals.
Teleporter A Mythic Reposition / blink Best farming route and PvP disengage. No i-frames but full map reposition.
Black Flames A Mythic Amaterasu burn pressure Burn pressure and curse-mark synergy. Pairs with Curse Mark Black Flames boss.
Red Eyes (base) A Mythic Base Sharingan line Keep it if you lack spins; reroll toward Meteor, Raven or Intangible.

How Kamui works post-rework

Post-rework Kamui triggers a short invincibility window — not a full teleport. The player becomes intangible for approximately 0.5 seconds and drifts slightly forward. The i-frame is clean: it covers the full activation animation and is useful for dodging jutsu, ultimates and boss charge attacks.

The cooldown on Kamui is approximately 20 seconds, making it a frequently available panic button rather than a once-per-fight ability. The short cooldown also makes Intangible feel more mobile than the teleport-based Teleporter variant over the course of a long fight.

Kamui cannot be used while already in an awakening form (Meteor, Teleporter, Raven). It requires the base Red Eyes mode to be inactive. The exact interaction with Full Susanoo varies by variant — check the Susanoo page for details.

Obito Rework FAQ

Quick answers to the most common questions about the September 2026 Obito Rework and the Intangible variant.

What is the Obito Rework?
The September 2026 Obito Rework added the Intangible variant to the Red Eyes clan line and reworked Kamui mechanics. It also introduced three new spin codes: IntangibleRework?!, UltimateIntangible!, and GedoDevastation!.
How rare is the Intangible variant?
Intangible is a Legendary rarity variant inside the Red Eyes bracket — roughly 1% of all clan spins, or about 0.2% inside the Red Eyes family. It is easier to get than Mythic Meteor or Raven but harder than the base Red Eyes line.
Is Intangible good for PvP or PvE?
Intangible leans toward PvP. The Kamui phase-dodge gives short i-frames that can bait out enemy ultimates in 1v1. For boss burst windows and Raids, Meteor still wins. Intangible is an A-tier keeper for players who prefer a mobile playstyle.
What codes came with the Obito Rework?
Three codes dropped on September 4–5, 2026 alongside the Obito Rework update: IntangibleRework?! (50 spins), UltimateIntangible! (20 spins), and GedoDevastation! (15 spins). All three are still active as of September 6, 2026.
Do I need the August Totsuka / Yata codes for Raven?
The Totsuka! and Yata! promo codes expired on 28 August 2026. RavensUltimateEternal! is still active and worth keeping if you roll Raven. The Totsuka and Yata weapons themselves can still be obtained through the hideout questline.
Can I use Intangible for the Friends quest and Susanoo?
Intangible is inside the Red Eyes clan line, so it qualifies for the Friends quest. However, the Renegade NPC checks for Crimson Inferno (Meteor mode) specifically. Other Red Eyes variants including Intangible can still access the Uchiha Hideout and stone, but the exact NPC dialogue may differ.
Is Crimson Eyes the same as Red Eyes?
No. Crimson Eyes is a separate May 2026 dojutsu-adjacent roll. It is a solid A-tier fallback, not a Red Eyes variant and not a Susanoo gate.
