Ninja Time Families Guide

Family is the third spin. It does not replace your clan kit — it adds a passive (often extra mastery or raw skill damage) that either multiplies a matching clan or props up a weaker one.

Purple Eyes and Thousand Hands families are the two keeps. Everything else is a holding pattern until you can afford to roll again.

How families work

Customize → Family uses Family spins, a separate wallet from Clan and Element. A Family named like a clan (Red Eyes family, Purple Eyes family) is still a passive, not a second Sharingan.

You want the Family name to echo the Clan when you can: Red Eyes family on Meteor is extra juice. Monkey is the universal mastery bump when the names refuse to match.

Family list

The table uses the same S-to-C ladder as community lists from August 2026. Healer and Soul are reroll-on-sight; Bug and Bone only stay if you are broke.

How to roll

Dump Family last if Clan is still C/D — a Thousand Hands family will not save Soul clan. Once Clan is A or better, Family is the cheapest way to feel a power spike without touching Element.

Build synergy

Classic stacks: Purple Eyes clan + Purple Eyes family + Black Flames or Explosion. Thousand Hands clan + Thousand Hands family + Ice. Meteor + Red Eyes family + Fire or Scorch. Raven + Red Eyes family + Fire.

If only one name matches, keep it. Two matching names plus Ice or Particle is the August 2026 ceiling most pubs will never hit.
