Ninja Time Sand Village Guide

Sand Village sits west of the old desert, past Shika and Nika. You still spawn in Main Village. The Sand Part 2 pass turned the inner court into a real hub: rotating deliveries, a weapon hunt, and the place you actually use Iron Sand and Gold Dust.

This is the search page for “how to get to Sand Village”, “Iron Sand” and “Gold Dust”. Element spins still happen in Customize — the village is where you spend the kit.

How to reach Sand Village

Exit Main Village, stay on the right-hand desert road, talk to Shika on the outskirts, then keep going until grass returns. Nika stands there as the last trainer before the walls. A Bird mount after level 22 skips most of the sand.

  1. 1

Leave Main Village toward the desert

From spawn / Jeni, exit the village and stay on the right-hand desert road. Shika stands on the outskirts — talk to him if you still need desert quests.

  2. 2

    Pass Nika at the greenery

Keep walking (or fly on the Bird mount after level 22) until grass returns. Nika is the trainer just before the Sand Village walls.

  3. 3

Find the elder in the inner court

Inside the village, the elder runs the mission board. Pick Sand Village delivery or Sand weapon hunt. Iron Sand / Gold Dust materials show up on those turn-ins and on nearby elites.

Sand missions

The elder in the inner court runs the board. Sand Village delivery walks a package to a desert outpost. Sand weapon hunt clears Sand-region elites. NewSandMissions! was the code that shipped with the board; the missions stayed after the code expired.

Iron Sand & Gold Dust

Both are Legendary genkai on the Element spin (about 5%), A-tier on our list. Iron Sand is magnet-style control. Gold Dust is burst and zone denial — 2026 community lists often park it next to Ice. Mastery 25 adds a small damage rider. You do not craft them at the elder.

Name Type Notes
Iron Sand Genkai element A-tier magnet-style control. Legendary 5% element spin. Mastery 25 adds Iron Sand damage.
Gold Dust Genkai element A-tier burst and zone denial. Community 2026 lists often park it next to Ice for stun. Same 5% legendary pool.
Sand Weapons Weapon table Drop from Sand-region elites and the weapon-hunt mission after Sand Part 2.
Sand mission XP Mission reward Rotating deliveries from the elder. Pair with daily login missions.

Three names matter on the road: Shika (desert quests), Nika (advanced trainer), Sand Village elder (missions and weapons). Everyone else on the NPC page is still in Main Village, Uchiha or the mountains.

Name Location Role
Shika Desert outskirts, right-hand side of the map First desert quest-giver on the road to Sand Village
Nika Greenery patches past the sand, before the village gate Advanced trainer; last stop before the inner court
Sand Village elder Inner court of Sand Village Sand mission board, deliveries and Sand Weapons turn-in

Sand Weapons

A drop table on Sand-region elites and the weapon-hunt mission. SandWeapons! was the 25-spin code that celebrated the table; it is expired. The weapons themselves did not leave with the string.

Sand Village FAQ

Starting village confusion, how to roll Iron Sand, expired mission codes, and One-Tailed Hero versus Sand.

Is Sand Village a starting village?
No. You still spawn in Main Village. Sand Village is a west-of-desert region unlocked by walking (or flying) there. Rank gates may hide some inner-court boards until Chunin / Jonin.
How do I get Iron Sand or Gold Dust?
They are Element spins in the Legendary genkai pool (about 5%), not clan rolls. Use Element spins from codes, boss tokens or the guild stipend. The village is where you spend the kit, not where you roll it.
Did NewSandMissions! unlock the board?
That code is expired. The mission board itself stayed. You do not need the old string to take Sand deliveries.
Is One Tail tied to Sand Village?
One-Tailed Hero is a Fire Country world boss (Map Location 17), not a Sand Village exclusive. Farm him on the 5-minute timer; do not wait for a Sand mission to spawn him.
